Revenue, MRR & Deal Status

How Salescadia turns your connected Stripe into Won/Open/Lost deals and revenue.

1Won Revenue vs Active MRR

On the Revenue tab you'll see two numbers that sound similar but answer different questions:
  • Won Revenue — the total dollars you have collected from won deals, all-time. It is cumulative and only ever goes up. Think of it as "how much has this book of business paid us so far."
  • Active MRR — your current monthly recurring run-rate: the sum of monthly subscription value across customers whose subscription is still active (or past-due) right now. When a customer churns, their MRR drops off this number even though their past payments still count toward Won Revenue.
So a customer who paid for six months and then cancelled keeps adding to Won Revenue but contributes $0 to Active MRR. Hover the ⓘ icon on any card for the same explanation in context.

2Deal status: Open, Won, Lost

Salescadia uses your connected Stripe as the source of truth and automatically marks each deal's status — you don't move cards by hand:
  • Won — the customer has paid. A churned subscriber stays Won (with a "Churned" badge) because the revenue was real; only a deal that is more than 90% refunded flips to Lost.
  • Open — a live opportunity with no completed purchase yet, including someone still inside a free trial.
  • Lost — a trial that cancelled without ever paying, or a purchase that was almost entirely refunded.
The Deal status funnel at the top of the Revenue tab shows the Open / Won / Lost counts at a glance, and the per-rep table breaks the same split down by owner.

3Free trials & subscriptions

When a customer is trialing, their deal sits in Open so it shows up as live pipeline rather than inflating revenue. If the trial converts to a paid subscription the deal becomes Won; if the trial cancels first it becomes Lost. Active subscriptions feed Active MRR; when one is cancelled the deal keeps its Won status and picks up a "Churned" badge so you can see lost run-rate without losing the historical sale. Status is re-derived automatically on a schedule, so deals stay accurate as Stripe changes.

4Revenue on prospect segments

On the Reports tab, each "Prospect segments & who closes them" card now carries the segment's revenue: average lifetime value per buyer, total past revenue collected, current MRR, and the number of buyers. This ties each segment of prospects to the money it actually produces, so you can see which kinds of prospects are worth the most — not just who closes them. The figures only appear once a segment has at least one attributed buyer.
