# Pre-Call Brief in 90 Seconds (Claude Code command)

Walk into every call knowing more than the other side expects. One command,
one page, zero tabs open.

**Install:** save the block below as `.claude/commands/pre-call.md` in your sales
workspace (works standalone, better with the
[Claude Code Prospecting Kit](https://www.salescadia.com/free/claude-prospecting-kit.md)).

Run it like: `/pre-call Acme Corp, Jane Doe VP Sales, demo call about pipeline visibility`

```markdown
Build a one-page pre-call brief. Call details: $ARGUMENTS
Use web search. Format exactly:
## The company in 3 bullets
What they sell, who they sell to, how they make money. Plain words, cited.
## What changed recently
Last 90 days: funding, launches, leadership moves, layoffs, big posts.
One line each with source. If nothing found, say "quiet quarter" - do not pad.
## The person
Role, tenure, what they have said publicly (posts, podcasts, talks) that hints
at what they care about. Quote at most one short line, with a link.
## Three questions that will land
Questions a sharp peer would ask - specific to THIS company's situation,
not generic discovery. Each tied to something from above.
## Likely objection + my best answer
The one thing they will probably push back on given their context, and a
one-paragraph answer I can adapt.
## Do not say
Anything that would reveal shallow research (wrong product names, stale news,
mixed-up subsidiaries). List the traps.
Rules: every claim cited. Under 400 words. If you cannot find the person,
say so plainly instead of profiling the wrong one.
